Capital Campaign Update:

The Capital Campaign has completed and we are grateful for the support of the community for the success of the Campaign. The Library’s mortgage was eliminated through the generous contributions of many community members. Thank you for your support of the Library through this Campaign!

Dear Library Supporters,

Five years ago, when the Palmyra municipal building required replacement, the Palmyra Public Library lost its utility, maintenance and rent-free space. Now, the Library has a new, permanent home that continues to offer valued and sustainable programs to all age groups in a bright, technology equipped environment.

With this move, the Library also became responsible for its first-ever mortgage and building expenses. These obligations of approximately $38,000 per year are equivalent to our annual deficit.

The goal of our grassroots capital campaign is to eliminate the mortgage and secure our financial reserves.

We’re excited to report that we have received pledges of $440,000 towards our goal of $500,000. We need your support to help us reach our goal.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.
