Welcome to Palmyra Public Library!
Our vision: The Palmyra Public Library brings people together to enrich lives and build community.
Our mission: The mission of the Palmyra Public Library is to provide our community with a convenient place to read, discover, learn and think. To this end, PPL must identify, acquire and disseminate materials our community needs. To make this possible, we must: 1) build and maintain a reliable financial foundation, 2) maintain a pleasant, efficient and secure physical plant, 3) ensure a current and growing collection of needed library materials in various media, and 4) serve the community with a friendly, knowledgeable and supportive staff.
Established in 1954, the library is committed to providing our community with access to intellectual, educational, cultural and recreational information. The library serves the communities of Palmyra Borough and North and South Londonderry Townships. The library has been located at 50 Landings Drive in Flightpath Sports Park (near In the Net and Paramount Sports Complex), its new home since January 2014
In addition to books for all ages, the library offers FREE high-speed Internet service, as well as a wireless hot spot, programs for children and adults, and much more…
