Chelsea Weibley:
If you’re looking for a heart-warming read during these challenging times, look no further than The City Baker’s Guide to Country Living by Louise Miller. Escape with Livvy Rawlings, a Boston pastry chef, to the Sugar Maple Inn in Guthrie, Vermont. Livvy accepts a job at the Inn working for the cantankerous owner, Margaret. As Livvy creates delectable pastries for the Inn’s guests, she learns she has also been hired to help Margaret reclaim the blue ribbon in the apple pie contest at the county fair. Small town life allows Livvy to meet neighbors and the possibility of love as she finds that she isn’t as alone in the world as she once believed. I highly recommend this delightful read.
