Curbside Pickup/Returns and Summer Learning Program Instructions

Starting June 8^th we are available for curbside pickup and returns.

Curbside Service Hours:
Monday 1pm – 7pm
Tuesday 1pm – 7pm
Wednesday 10am – 4pm
Thursday 10am – 4pm
Friday 10am – 4pm
Saturday 10am – 2pm (July and August 10am – 12:30pm)

Place holds for the items you’d like by visiting our website and signing in with your library card or call the library during curbside service hours at 717.838.1347 to place holds with a staff member.

When visiting to pick up your held items please us to let us know you’ve arrived by calling the Library (717.838.1347). Once we’ve received your call we’ll begin processing your items.

A staff member will come out to your vehicle to check your photo ID and collect any items you’re returning. For safety reasons, we appreciate if you wear a mask or face covering when staff are at your vehicle. We will be wearing ours too to protect you! *Any returned materials will be quarantined for 7 days before checking in. No late fees will be charged during the 7 day quarantine period*

We’ll then check out any items held for you, gather Summer Learning Packets you request for children, teens or adults and bring everything back out to your vehicle.

There are two options for completing the Imagine Your Story and My Magical Quest Summer Learning Programs this year.

Option 1: Summer Learning Packets may be picked up at the library during curbside service hours. Complete the packet throughout the summer and return to the library between August 3rd and August 20th. When you return your packet you may pick your prizes and enter your name in the large prize drawing.

Option 2: Complete the Summer Learning Program virtually on our website. Visit palmyra.lclibs.org/discover/summer-learning/. A new form will be added each week for you to fill out and submit to us. Complete each form by August 20th. Visit the library between August 3rd  and August 20th  to pick your prizes and enter your name in the large prize drawing.

Adults wishing to complete the Summer Reading BINGO card may pick up at the library or enter virtually following instructions above.

Large prize winners for Imagine Your Story, My Magical Quest and BINGO programs will be drawn and notified on August 21st.
